Hi
I got my canadian passport recently, I also hold my Indian passport which is valid till 2012, what is my legal obligation towards the Indian passport, am I to inform the Indian consulate or things like that plz guide.

You are supposed to give to to the Indian embassy - they will cancel it and give it back to you. You might want to do this either when you apply for your Indian visa or when you apply for the PIO/OCI.
