Today, I had a bad experience with G3 Telecom. I was trying some numbers in Banglore. After I dialled the number, there is no response. Usually you would hear the telephone ring. After no response for a minute or less you hang up and try the number again. I found that every time this happened, G3 charged you a for minute. Usually, I never noticed that I was charged even though I was not connected. But today it happened to me few times hence I noticed. I called G3 customer service. They call it dropped calls. I asked her to check how many dropped calls I had and she said for the last few days her records show it was 6 calls.
She said she would credit my account with the money. Admit it is few cents only. That makes it worthwhile to credit immediately and keep customers happy. But No even after few hours my account was not credited. I called again and that's when they credited my account. I am not sure how many times in the last few yeras I have been charged for the calls that did not connect.

not just G3 even with Comwave too. They always say that if it's a 1min. call you are entitled to get a credit. never had a problem not getting the credit.
But we have to call.
Same here. When I call the BSNL land line in Bangalore, they hear the ringing sound, but I dont. I will hang up and call the airtel line that works perfect (we got two landlines). This has happened number of times. It's few cents, but a bit annoying. May be next time I will call G3 to check.
Any diwali specials they got??????

I heard there is a provider who will let you call for 1 hour a day to India for a charge of $ 20 per month.
Does anybody know who is the provider and what are the restrictions?
