Hi Folks ,

Finally back last week after spending grueling 3 mos. in India . India is so hectic with so many friends , relatives , jobs to be done that time just flies by ..... Despite the traffic , population and all the professed ills , you just can't beat the identity you bear to the land be it Maharashtra , Delhi , Hyderabad or other places ...

Things have become expensive and inflation is an accepted norm .... although road side eateries still dish out not so expensive fare ......... Was in Hyderabad for Technology related training for a month and boy - Ameerpet is a great place for IT Training - around 50 Institutes or more in a close proximity of 3-4 bldgs at cheap cheap prices ........... technology that you name & good quality instructors if you look around ....Glad to find that some of the better instructors are dishing out online training through SKYPE and desktop sharing for USD 500/- ......

Dosas still for Rs 20/- -30/- and the same for chola bhaturas ........ For more than once I had a filling meal for under CAD 1 /- .....

But largely esp in metros , salaries have increased and so have the prices of commodities and services ........

Back to the land of white !! Temperature seems to be weaning off ....... Hope everyone is doing fine ... A big Hello to all !!

Fido,
Glad to see you back.
KumarM has gone back to Hyderabad for ever. If you had been active on CD during your stay in Hyderabad, you could have met with him in h'bad.
We look forward to a fruitful and meaningful discusion of how Canada is still cheating immigrants. The board was void of some reality discussion for quite sometime now.

Thank you so much folks .

Though I checked CD very sporadically while in Hyd and learnt that KM had relocated back , did nt know that he was in Hyderabad , other wise would have definitely touch based ......

On popular demand here s a foray into the IT Training market in Hyderabad ( Ameerpet ) ... this would be more biased towards Datawarehousing since I concerned myself with these technologies .

OBIEE (30 hours ) 6,000 .... Venkat Reddy @ Surya is an ace faculty ... Has spent 5 years in the US . ( does online training for USD 500/- through Surya S/W Solutions).

SAP Business Objects : Ramesh of Objects Training Institute ... best in BO in Ameerpet though personally I felt that he was not excellent ... Makes around 84 lacs per anum by my guess ............ 6000/- for a 25 day course ... Does online training as well ....2 batches .

Cognos & Informatica : Shekhar of Datawarehousing Technologies ....( perhaps the best of all ) remains immensely busy and is a very good instructor ..... 4000/- for both course .... Not sure if he does online training but should not be difficult to find some one doing online training in Informatica .

Oracle DBA & RAC : Madhusudan of Wiltshire ... has been known of having 184 people in a class .... no one else comes close .

All the technologies are available there and this was my 2nd training trip here in the past 4 years .... Really hectic ... first class @ 7 am , last at 7 30 pm .....But worth the time spent ....

RBO - The trip was great ........ could spend quality time with relatives n friends despite having 1 month of training .... But very very busy ...... although quite a few tasks were accomplished , quite a few remain ....

Fell ill quite frequently but the weather in Hyderabad was excellent ... no need for sweater even in Dec Jan , unlike the North ...... high population growth and price rise was apparent almost every where ....

Suffered a break in during final days and lost some jewelry purchased at Dubai during onwards trip ......... Came very close to purchasing a kg of gold as investment ... still pending though :)

Good info.. for the only job available in Canada (high paying).
On a sidenote, looks like inflation has not caught up with these IT courses yet.
These courses are pretty damn cheap.
