DUAL CITIZENSHIP..:
Canada Recognizes DUAL Citizenship. Where as India Does not. So, the minute you acquire Canadian Citizenship
you lost your Indian one. And to rub it into you, they will ask you to surrender the same and will ask you to pay
for the same. All of these are are the cost of obtaining the Canadian Citizenship. You have earned it. Now you have
to pay for it.
You will have to contact the Agency that is delegated to do the same for the Consulate General of India, here in
the Toronto area. They are called BLS and I will provide their location under this.

Please see the heading marked requirements in the link. The fees are $240. CAD. plus.
Please make a copy of all of the pages of the passport before submission and do not, REPEAT, DO NOT, leave any
attachments with in. Also submit all of the documents that they ask for and pay the fees too.

Do it ASAP and get a Surrender certificate. They will stamp the Indian passport as cancelled and give you a separate A4 size Surrender certificate on paper.
Then apply for OCI immediately. You will need it when you decide to go back to India permanently, I guarantee you will do that like most other immigrants.
You will need both the cancelled passport & surrender certificate for future Visitor's visa to India or OCI to India.
There are fines and penalties for not surrendering your passport or travelling on an Indian passport after getting foreign citizenship.

Canada doesn't give a rat's ass, whether as an immigrant you are a dual citizen or quadruple citizen.
As long as you pay exhorbitant income taxes, property taxes, HST & other taxes over here and not in your home country, that's all they care about.
Plus don't forget to sell your houses and other investments and bring them into Canada, as they need immigrants money for their broke ass economy
In return you will get a piece of paper and a booklet called Canadian citizenship & passport..LMAO. In return you get to bow down & kneel before the White queen during the Canadian citizenship ceremony and swear your allegiance to her & accept her as your master.

I can see you are frustrated with Canada. but just keep decency about language ... I have mix filling for Canada as well but i do respect the country which i stayed or i will stay.
