I know this is a bit personal question, but i wanted to post it anyways!!
Reason - there is always a doubt in your mind that money you have is going to be enough for 1 year ( assuming u dont get jobs) and are people around you in same boat. I do understand that we all come from different backgrounds... etc .

I am new to Kuwait ( less than 2 months) , with an average job with saving potential INR 25000 per month.
My expectation will be to have around CAD 17,000 ( mostly indian saving) by the time i land in Canada for good . This is all I have . Are you in the same boat.
no. i am not in the same boat. i had huge savings before coming to canada. all depends on what you want to do and how you want to live. do not compare apples and oranges.
