5. You don't have to pay bride as u will be paying enough taxes and there will be nothing left in ur pocket for the bride.

There's no concept of bribe here in Canada - higher taxes or not. I wonder if you have ever come across. You pay taxes, that's how your kids get free education (quality or no quality is subjective), you get free libraries, subsidised community centres, free tennis courts, clean roads, and much more.

Try getting Tennis club and a swimming pool membership in Delhi for you and your kids in Delhi. Getting your kid admitted in a KG is already a nightmare and becomes Newspaper headlines every year.

When I came to Canada – around 10 years back, not able to settle down at the beginning and frustrated with the job etc. At that time, one of my acquaintances advised me to stay for around 2 years and try my best. After living for 2 years, go back to India and live there for 2 months and at the end of 2 months, take decision which way to go.

Unless you have most recent experience of both places, can’t compare.

The word FREE has no meaning if it does not fulfill the requirements. In India there are no. of states where the farmers are given free electricity and tons of other FREE stuff. But they still complain that electricity is FREE but they only get it 4 hrs in a day. Same here in Canada, I pay heavy taxes but the services which I am supposed to get as FREE has no value. My kids will get FREE education but the point is what is the value of that education? I get FREE healthcare but the point is if I will get the treatment or NOT. Personally speaking I hate the word FREE (Be in India or Canada), it does not work anywhere. Canadian govt is very smart. Under the hood you are paying much higher what u get back and the word FREE is used to cover that.
