Oh man, the whole slant of this 'reverse dissection' seems to be a reflection of negativity and the inability to put life in perspective. My quick thought is that if immigrants came here just for chasing the $, you were perhaps better off not coming here in the first place.

Think....
organized living and systems; environment; hygiene and cleanliness; respect for humans and animals alike; absence of being being targets of others' judgements based on who you are and what you do, what you wear, the car you drive; reliability of electricity.....

Just think...

Who is holding you back, man? Were you forcibly brought here? Go, Leave, back to chasing the Rupee.

Wish you better luck there! Losers will be losers everywhere.

I agree. I have no use for the money in India, hence will take my chances with the crazy N.A market.

We could close this topic in the very same words a Mayoral Candidate said on an interview on AM 1010 yesterday nite and I quote:

"If you don't like Canada, Get the Hell out of Here !".

This was his response to the motion where they want PR holders to be allowed to vote in municipal elections as they pay taxes. He responded that if they really want to vote they should take the Canadian Citizenship and lay their allegiance to Canada.

Why do they want to remain on a PR and not take the citizenship if they love Canada ? was his question.

This thread is for the people who want to return to India, your contribution by this way will not help.

Goods and services that cost 100 $ in yr 2000 will cost 121.94 in yr 2010.
This is according to bank of canada.

That is exactly 2% annualized rate of inflation.
Compare against 12% wholesale in India and likely above 15% retail.

Let us assume The difference in inflation is 10 % annualy.

But see the difference in ROI potential, taxes etc.

One of my fund is at 29.37% (annualized). I just looked it up via Quicken. It's called the Templeton BRIC fund.
