Which name sounds better?
"A Little Kindness" or "A Small Kindness" or "Little Kindness" for a Charitable Foundation.
I am thinking about registering a domain name and would like to know which makes a better sense and sounds better.
Thanks for your suggestions.
Hi,
To answer your question..I liked "Little Kindness"....,
But adding my own views of this.....I do not think there can be any word/adjective in front of "KINDNESS"...So if I have to decide then, I would go for either only "KINDNESS" or try using some more options.
But still it looks good, considering the real efforts one puts in/the objective behind the organisation. Whats there in the name then?
Regards,
VJ.
BEWARE.
Trap 1:
Little kindness is a negative term.
Little kindness=no kindness.
So there, \\\"A Little Kindness\\\" is more appropriate.
Other options could be:
A Touch of Kindness
Kind Souls
Divine Kindness
Divine Charity
etc.
Trap 2:
Also look out for Patented/Trade-Mark names.
Especially in USA & Canada. A domain name maybe available but the name may be a registered trade mark. Do a search on appropriate sites.
You may have to pay millions after a few years just for using the name!!!
Best of luck.
I am an idiot
How about some acronym that fits your organization's directive?
eg. K.I.N.D (Kudirat INitiative for Democracy)

Microsoft - Which end of the stick do you want today?
Thank you everybody for taking your valuable time to answer my question.
As one of you suggested me to go with \"kindness\" only. The domain name was not available. One of you suggested that pick some other names and most of them were already gone too. I could have picked acronym as one of you suggested, but I could not come up with a good one.
One of you talked about patents and trademarks. I checked the US government website and I was not able to find anything about \"A Little Kindness\". I hope I did that search in the right place. http://www.uspto.gov/index.html
Anyway, after talking to all of you and at least a half dozen people at my work I decided to go with \"A Little Kindness\". I talked to each one of them separately and everybody picked the same name. I also did some search in Google and I found phrases like \"a little kindness goes a long way\" and things like that. During that search, I found this website of a US based Indian Humorist’s website. It might interest some of you. http://www.melvindurai.com/kind.htm
Once again, thank you all for your time and suggestions.
