I am saddened to see that people out there that use each other. I belive that everyone who has come new to Canada knows of the difficult times thats ahead. They should understand and be there for others without trying to rob each other.
I am sorry that I dont live in Toronto anymore if I did I would tell you I would open my doors in all possible ways. I would allow someone to stay in my home 2 weeks free so they can find their own apartment and I would help them I would make calls and go around with them on the bus to view apartments and I would bring them to get Health cards and SIN cards on transit cause I dont know how to drive. Only thing they would have to do is get to my home in a taxi as I dont drive I would call the taxi and find out about how much it would cost and let them know so they dont get ripped off they mght have to buy their own food... but I would help as much as I could.. I would help with english if needed .... I would also hire young desi students to do thinigs for cash if I ever need things done and would refer them to my friends.. word of mouth spreads quickly.... If someone is there for you... then I am sure when u have settled u would also do for another new person coming into Canada.... I will be movnig back to Toronto in July so when I get settled maybe I will put an ad here...... I would never ever take money.. nor would I ask them to do anything for me in anyway except keep clean after themselves....
