My wife recently (15 DAYS) CONCEIVED. and I am planning to move in the month of september. What to do? What are the benefits we get for a child? It is not good from the India point of view since I had already two children ( age 7-8 years). This will be third. Please reply at the earliest from the canada point of view.

Please anybody who can help me in taking the decision.

Ashwin

Kinda funny question... you mean if you won't get any benefit for your kid in Canada, you will opt for an abortion????

Thanks and regards.

Ashwin,
It is totally your decision but i don't think one should make a decision based on what benefits you can get in canada. A child to me is a gift from God and not a money making or benefitting commodity. Sorry buddy other than child tax benefit that one gets in Canada to low income families i don't know of any other benefit. Yes you don't pay for tuition fees i guess right upto grade 12.

I think I got your concern about the third child. Do you mean about the expenses for the education and bringing up of the child? If that is the reason do not worry as Canadian Govt give you lot of incentive and free education for your child upto the Gr 12 so not to worry about that and moreover child-tax benefit for low income group is of much use to bring up the child and if you are lucky to be in over the middle and higher income group what for you need the help or benefits from the Gvt.
