The discussion continues ..... in favor and against .... its always been a never ending 1 .
Happy New Year Evry1 .............Just my 2 cents ........
1. Plants regrow fruits and leaves if they r plucked ..........animals dont regrow their limbs ........
2. Using the hair or an other useless part of an animal is more permitted than harming it for it ............. u cant equate milking a cow to killing it .
3. Cheese that contains renet is non veg ...check the ingredients when u buy .
4. It is the suffering which we construe in mind wrt animals which is missing in plants ......... as rightly pointed out v do not imagine plants oozing blood or suffering .......... which may mean that they may or may no have any ....... both ways .
5. Carnivores and herbavores dont have a choice . But as humans v do have it and brain and feelings like compassion and kindness ....... An animal is called a 'man eater' if it tastes human blood and is killed .......... wonder what happens 2 humans who have eaten thousand animals .
6. Yes Vegan is the best but then who wudnt wear shoes ??
............. I guess its there in the mindset and convenience ...........plus values which prevent us from such .
7. A plant may regrow its fruits and seeds .......... but how abt a root ---- a potato / ginger ??? I bet Jains dont eat either of these .......... but that appears OK to most vegeterians .
In the end the choice lies ................ y not stop millions of animals from getting slaughtered if we can .......... just imagine the last look on the animals face and the last scream when its getting slaughtered ....................

Thank you Meghal for considering this very humane topic. Can anyone prove scientifically that eating meat is more beneficial than vegetables?
Regards,
Nikhil
Very good point though overlooked so far .
I remember someone telling me that the human anatomy is designed for vegetables and hence non vegetarian matter strains the digestive system taking more time ........
However considering world over a majority of meat eaters I aint sure how far is the point valid . Maybe other s have a better idea .

Treating animals equal to plants is nothing but a thought of sick intellectual mind where one is trying to prove a wrongful act to a rightful alike a lawyer trying to prove a criminal innocent, although he knows it.

This is one of the truest statements ever made. If people thought about or saw what really happens to animals in slaughterhouses for more than a second, it would get to them and they would not be able to bring themselves to still be a carnivore. Those animals endure some of the cruelest treatment and neglect. Also, slaughterhouses are kept in the most unsanitary conditions and violate more laws then almost any other business. The slaughter of animals for human consumption should be banned.
