How come people from Korea, Hong Kong or Romania dont work in factories while we have to?
Quote:
Because all these people bring money with them, they arrive and relax, upgrade their skills develop networks and then land a good job after a year or so.
Quote:
If you compare the skill set of Indians with those Romanians and East Europeans ...Indians really standout having better English skills and Technical abilities.
They still find it difficult to get acceptance....becoz of cultural and color difference......
Quote:
East Europeans succeed here not becoz they upgrade their skills or networking......WHITE SKIN color is accepted here.......Have you ever seen White Guys.....unemployed ...wandering for jobs ???????

Please take it in the right sense as this is the "REALITY"

Viks, that line "Indians smelling of curry" was a quote I used to find on IRC, many years ago. Can you elaborate what that means ? I dont understand how a person who has eaten ummm say Palak Paneer + Keema Mutter + Biryani (spicy dishes) will smell of curry ? The only smell that can emanate from the desi is if he speaks and by shear bad luck he has BAD BREATH or did not RINSE HIS MOUTH properly. So you mean to say, you wont hire a DESI who has BAD BREATH or who doesnt RINSE his mouth ?

Im surprised with your comments. its like u guys dont really kow what im saying.
nobody is going to smell your clothes but with the typical indian cooking at home the clothes do have an odour unless u are one of those you regularly burn scented candles at home and keep the curry odour away from your kitchen and home.
Are you not fammiliar abt this new concept of families moving their kitchens to the basement to avoid this odour problem in the house???
If you still dont understand what im talking about then do not bother because someone who doean't know his clothes have an odour will probably not believe it either coz you are living in that environment 24/7 and therefore get used to it.
Just be a little open minded for now.
