Speech by Thomas Friedman of The New York Times....
"When we were young kids growing up in America, we were told to eat our
vegetables at dinner and not leave them. Mothers said, 'think of the
starving children in India and finish the dinner.' And now I tell my
children: 'Finish your maths homework. Think of the children in India
who would make you starve, if you don't.'"
Sankaracharya,
Once i learnt that she is an MCC (Madras Christian College-Tambaram, Chennai, Tamil Nadu) aluminus, I started to find more facts about her. I read about her life in a Newspaper outside Dundas fruits and vegetables.
She was born as Indira Krishnamoorthy and this means that she is a Hindu by birth. So DesiRaja's statement that MCC admits only 99 % christian students is False unless she was the only Hindu admitted into MCC that year, which i donot presume so. Other alternative theory would be that she bribed someone / used her dad's influence to get a seat in MCC.
Her husband's name is Raj.
It is also very heartening to note that a Tamil women is one among the 50 most powerful women in the World.
