World politics is controlled by men like you and me. So what is stopping you from bullying your neighbour into submission for what ever purpose you desire? The same should hold good for world politics.
If Darwinism (survival of the fittest) is what drives our policy (as well as world politics) towards the Iraqis then why do you say that they do not hate us for it?

LOL...I should trust you to make simplistic statements like that.
Actually my neighbour is from Pakistan and I drop his kid to school..along with mine almost every day. We are expecting a visit from high-level Pakistani and Indian delegations who want to see how we handle our common fence. They plan to use the info to settle the kashmir issue.
. I'll let you know how it works out.

Read the rest of my posts...'they' are not hating 'us'. There is no united 'they'.
The Iraqi kurds are happy with the arrangement for one(since their interests are served). Those in the govt and security forces are happy that the US is there to back them up. I suspect most civilians amongst both the shia and sunni know that they need the US troops there to help restore normalcy. The rest are too busy hating each other...as is seen from the many attacks on civilians by the radicals.
The 'hate us' is your preoccupation and fantasy...not mine

I'll clarify: GW is a politician and has reasons to mask his true intent in 'moralspeak'...like the other politicians in the rest of the world.

What is interesting though is that when GW said 'they' in the speech...he was clearly referring to the terrorists behind 911 etc. You seem to conclude that he was talking about Iraqis by connecting that speech to he humvees.
. I guess you dont see the difference?

Ah! now I get it..... they = the 9/11 guys... and they flew those planes in for fun and not because they hated us...
.....and Iraq was only just some duck hunting pleasure trip on our way to finding out where "they" live, so we can extract revenge, is it?...... and of course while we are there, might as well grab the spoils ..the dead dont really have much use for oil anyways... right? and of course according to you all this is not supposed to make the Iraqis hate us..!
Try this at home .... move your fence 5 feet into your neighbour's yard and while you are at it send a rock into his window, if you can climb in, grab some of his cash. If he confronts you tell him you are on your mission to find "they" and just stopped by for some excitement..... Do let me know how it worked out.

Wrong. Who said anything about revenge? Point that out anywhere in my posts. I said its about the oil. You seem to be unable to back up any statements you have said...or refute anything I have said

I'll make it clear to you...its not about 'revenge', its not about alqaeda, its about the self interest of the current world order and to preserve/satisfy our dependence on cheap oil. By the same token...the Iraqis do not 'hate' us because the groups out there are fighting for themselves and not for any 'iraqi' identitity. They are fighting for who is going to control the oil too. If we left...they would still be figthing and killing each other.

Both of us, much like you, are quite happy and punch drunk with the economy built on oil. We do not see a need for more adventure.
Like I said we are a symbol of harmony. The indian/pakistani delegation are coming over to see how they can use our example to settle the kashmir issue. Sure I'll let you know how that works out .
Your comparisions of my neighbour and me to world politics is a further indicator of your profound grasp of world politics . Please take some time to get one foot out of your mouth before putting the other one in
