Many reasons why one should and why one may not.
Do as the roman do thing may not exist anymore, there is teaching of tolerance and living side by side happily. We are going toward one economy (global) and treating each other equally, not to mention the free speech (if directed some one else off course) and free actions unless you go through a red light. Off course collateral damages are a normal daily routine in wars so eating with hands may be religious and one may not hire you when you go for an interview and show your habit eating with hands. You may even not get invited again for eating with hands. How about having a veil and eating with hands especially in France or even ask for a private place to sit and eat like behind the curtain. No no no, we are not that tolerant yet so please please do not eat with hands at least during the interview.
If possible leave your hands at home.

Scientifically, it is healthier, not going into details.
Also, one have less chance of burning their mouth since touch by hand will give an idea.
