another thing which is interesting is that you are in singapore... and there is another debate going on on another thread where Singapore is being projected as a place where all problems of immigrants come to an end!!

I have lived in that part of the world and i disagree with this kind of projection ...i wonder what is your take on it since you are already there, your inputs would be interesting.

Your short and sweet qoute describes is exactly what many immigrants are going thru , when other places look ideal to them instead of where they presently are.
i may sound cliched here but i feel the solution really lies in focussing on what we have here and make the best of it ... instead of dreaming and about dwelling on how ideal other countries are .
