Hello Dips

I am leaving Canada permanently on May 27

thank GOD

I have been desperately trying to leave for a few years now, but have not had the opportunity to find work abroad.

But thanks to the wonder of God I have obtained a job in the U.S. and have obtained a work visa.

I am a foreign medical graduate.

God bless

Canuck3000 (very soon to be EX-Canuck3000 !)

Good luck pal. I'm waiting for my day.

Well, if nothing else, I think Crenshaw, DAS and I have managed to expose you for what you are, a biased hypocrite who has no sense of reality nor balance.

You claim to be a highly educated medical student who could not make it in Canada. Reading some of your comments sure blows that theory away, don't it? You go on and on like a parrot on what's wrong with Canada, and them somehow jump to blaming desis who're supposedly virgins and blacks and.....whatever. What's next? Alien abductions?

Then why on Earth read and post on a DESI website?

Just pretend to be a Canadian-Canadian and post on white Canadian forums.

Reason: because white Canadians don't accept you. They look at you with racist eyes and think that you are inferior.

Bottom line: these Desi's living in Canada are a mess.

They are not really desi's, many of them cannot even speak their mother tongues.

They are not Canadians. Were never and will never be. YES, they are Canadian citizens. But never Canadians. Dream on if you think a Desi will ever become Prime Minister of Canada.

They try to act black (some of them) but are very very far from being that also.

Yeah, now there's an educated doctor speaking!! :D

Besides Mr Crenshaw, DAS_FX and Mr Blue Lobster ( I like your insignia), I wonder what Mr. Ujjal Dosanjh, Mr. Nadir Mohamed (CEO of Rogers Wireles) and Dr. Sunil Patel ( president of Canadian Medical Association upto last year) have to say about Canada.
Any guesses?

I am sure if you look, there are plenty of people who would say Canada is where it's at- but maybe a select few visit Canadian desi.

You're absolutely right, LSD. But these things will never make sense to someone who's got blinders on his/her eyes. I mean if you tie a rope to your legs and hang yourself by a tree, and then go on and on about how the world looks upside down, who do you have to blame? :D

I don't claim Canada to be everybody's heaven, there are definately some people who're struggling despite their education and qualifications. Life for them is tough and and I'm of the opinion that people need to be acquainted with the grim realities they MAY face before deciding to come to Canada.

It is equally important however to stay away from fear-mongers who work for causes unknown to the rest of us. The trouble is these kind of people do find a willing audience who build terrible misconceptions about Canada even before landing here. They're still going to come here, but now they come loaded with fear, anxiety and some body else's frustration.

And if you start a new life anywhere with that attitude, success is all that more elusive.

So its pretty important to watch out for these kinda guys whose only goal is to spew hatred and misinformation. At the cost of others.

Hi Can

You cannot generalize that canada is the BAD place in the world or the WORST place.

Well i beleive thats true for majority of immigrants as they find it hard to get going. But i have also seen lots of people doing very very good.
Specially the IT folks. Also some of my engineeing friends are doing well though working as technician. They earn much better than what they could have in India.

Though so far i am also struggling and feel like going back, but i would never give a GENERALIZE statement as being given by you.

Everybody has their own thinking and observing things either Sucess or Failure and what they want in Life.

I would rather ask guys coming over here to plan before migrating here. Who knows things can work out much better for them.
