We were discussing mobility rights, which is guaranteed under the Charter of Rights and Freedom, adopted in 1982. The bill of Rights bill from 1960 was is an older document, which much of it superseded by the 1982 Charter.
If you compare the American Bill of Rights and the Canadian Charter of Rights they are very similar and that is why I said that the Bill of Rights is more American. Never did I say that no Canadian Bill of Rights ever existed. If you want to count old documents, which really are not in force anymore than I admit I was incorrect, but we were talking about mobility rights and if you take a quick scan, you will see they are not in this 1960 Bill of Rights.
