We were discussing mobility rights, which is guaranteed under the Charter of Rights and Freedom, adopted in 1982. The bill of Rights bill from 1960 was is an older document, which much of it superseded by the 1982 Charter.
If you compare the American Bill of Rights and the Canadian Charter of Rights they are very similar and that is why I said that the Bill of Rights is more American. Never did I say that no Canadian Bill of Rights ever existed. If you want to count old documents, which really are not in force anymore than I admit I was incorrect, but we were talking about mobility rights and if you take a quick scan, you will see they are not in this 1960 Bill of Rights.

No, but how does this have anything to do with manjeet, which was the original question....?
Reading that part of the mobility rights , one can easily conclude that manjeet doesnt have the right to leave Canada......
But of course he does.
Canuck was right that there is a Bill of rights in canada, you were wrong.

I dont share his views, so I am going to question him. He may choose to answer or not, thats upto him.
But maybe I should give him a break. I imagine to properly dissect his posting I would have to sit here for really long periods.
My shifts are a both days and mids. There is no night shift, but days and mids either start very early or end very late. So you see me posting at 4 am in the morning.
