Why not even print the letters in response to this article. Esp one from a Vibha and Amol Gandhe- two people from Mumbai-same place as Ghulam and same placed as me-who in five years are earning a 6 figure income and have bought two homes in Mumbai for their parents. Those are the stories we need to comment on not Ghulam's- I don't need his loser story.
Mr Pramod- Brother, aap ne koi comment diya nahin hai lakin pura public ka to par liya hai. Or do you bother to visit this thread after you dumped a dumb story , instead just letting everybody waste their energy on a loser!

I agree with Bombay ka Babu. Ghulam Rasool may be right but still we cannot dump Canada as a haven for losers. Postings such as this debilitate the morale of the people who are prospective.
I have known atleast 2 families who have really made it so well in Canada, one of them is a CGA and has done so well that he has bought two homes and even at the age of 80 is able to send his wife to India every year.
What I think is people come in at a wrong age. People coming in 25-30yrs would stand a better chance of making better living. Coming with a family and that too, with kids is too stressful.
Why don't we really dig out and read about people who have been successful rather than going deep down in depression and making it a self-fulfilling prophecy?
If you think you are going to burn your boat, your savings, your everything and become a pauper, you will become one.
And the dangerous part is that these stories of hopelessness is being broadcast to everyone prospective and current immigrants alike which will have an indelible impression on their minds that they will be losers in Canada.
Please, let us hear some nice inspiring success stories!!

Ohh... I pay 15% of Everything i Eat, walk , drink, use even if I like it or not!!! And it is big contribution of money to Canadian economy. Suppose i bring 20000$ settlement fund, i pay 3000$ to Canadian govt as taxes and when 100,000 such people comes it is straighaway 3000 00 000 ( 30 million dollars) on conservative estimate on the very first month of their arrival in Canada ---is being paid to govt. And many more millions of dollars to follow later ,
Yes it is our selfish motive to pay so much to get a good life.... ( i doubt your intentions unless you have some specific reason to love canada..ha..ha...)

I think you had come with some other intention/s not me or many others like me. I was here to make good life in proportion to good money if not suitcase full.

and you think $30 million is a lot? do you seriously think if there was $30 million less coming from overseas into the canadian economy, that people would even notice???
