What's the problem here?
:D :D

People who don't like Canada can go back to their home country.
:w

People who like Canada can stay in Canada.
:)

The problem is solved.

Many things in life are not in our hands from the day we are born till the day we die.

People who apply for Canadian immigration should do it at their own risk .

If you read the article 1 in 3 will eventually quit the country. These are staggering odds as compared to say 1 in 11 smokers who will develop lung disease in their lifetime.

Cigarette manufacturers are made to add warning labels to their product. I personally feel Immigration Canada should be forced to have a warning on the immigration forms. It may go something like:

IMMIGRATION MINISTER WARNING: Immigrating to Canada without doing your homework can be injurious to wealth and health. The odds are that in the first 2 to 3 years of your life as an immigrant you may be forced to upgrade your skills and work at menial jobs which may destroy your self-esteem and break up your marriage. Even after upgrading your skills you will have to start at the bottom of the ladder in your profession and work your way up. The odds of landing a job in your field based on your profession are ---- in --- based on research conducted by Statistics Canada. We strongly advise you to reconsider your decision if your family finances, and mental outlook are not resilient enough to withstand the turbulent times ahead.

Even I'm against the constant griping. And I agree that there's people on the forum who more content with griping than anything else.

1.Your statement : "Even I am against constant "griping".

2.One who gripes = whiner

3.Your statement paraphrased: ""Even I am against whiners".

4. My statement paraphrased: "You are against whiners".

QED!

:D :D :D.

I hope you have better logic to help immigrants. Btw, what happened to the word constant in there?

:D

Quit with this nonsense. Taking statements out of context like this and reaching these conclusions is a sure sign of someone who needs professional help.

I think it would be awesome if the Cdn. immigration application form came with such an in-your-face warning. I don't think immigration numbers would go down significantly BUT its a great way to persuade people to do more research before taking the leap.

From personal experience though, I do not agree with the statement that 1 in 3 will eventually quit the country. At least not desis. To begin with, "eventually" is a very vague word. Secondly the guy only "reckons" this, it does not seem part of any concrete research.
