well i think many women dont like ME due to its strict controls or whatever. Plus at the end of the day its not just the work permit part of it (its an issue though) but living in that 'culture'.
sure families live in ME for long just for the cash basically. So when they want permanence why do they think of migrating elsewhere ?
thats why i said you can compare canada and australis not ME and permanent destinations. ME is short term very few live there permanently unless they are part of the culture.
I have met several ME people. You can tell from their outlook that they have never lived a western lifestyle or culture. all they have is domestic help like they were probably used to in india.
can you date a girl in ME ?
Hi guys,
It has been quiet a long time about 40 days of my stay in backhome in india.
Things are quiet good and have improved a lot.
Yes, of course pollution and corruption are there here for ever it seems but still i love here to stay.
At least for the first time after 3 years of living in canada , it seems i m back to normal life and enjoying my life here ...
I know i m drawing less money but still i m having good status , happy family and friend who are always at help.
Now, I m trying to let the people know the true story of canadian immigration system and their false pictures of shortage of skilled professionals.
I have convinced many of them and hope they will not think of immgrating to canada leaving their good paying jobs based on my experiences.
Indian economy is good these days and all the sectors are growing and especially mobile culture is at its peak.
In canada it was difficult to use mobile so frequently as it is expensive compared to here in india, car insurance is not a tension here as we can afford easily, job security is also there as we have our own people and they understand our problems...
so finally to convey that I am happy and i really think it is a good step on my part and i think i may not even consider to come back to canada even though my citizenship is due.
Thanks for you valuable comments and respecting my decision.
we have nice sunny days and smiling faces around and could see people at each and every nuke and corner.
What ever people says but i will say...
"MERA BHARAT MAHAAN"

Interceptor,
Good to know that you are happy & settled in India.
Would like to know whether you arranged for a job in India from Canada itself or found it after going to India?
Also, change your location on Canadian Desi.
There are many people who are talking of going back to India & talks of "reverse brain drain" to India. As a joke goes, people in USA, UK & Canada might be queuing to get a visa to India after 10-15 years.
I came in to Canada about 8 months back & yeah, i agree with you that you do get the latest technologies in India too now. Only thing is not enough people are familiar with the latest technologies. There are many things which I found cheaper in India particularly in computer field.
As you said, mobile phone usage is cheaper in India especially with incoming also free. As somebody said on this website that one has to wait for long to get phone connections, it is no longer true. In most of the areas you get phone connection immediately now with private phone providers like Reliance, Tata Telecom, etc. apart from the state run BSNL, MTNL, etc. Infact a pleasant change due to companies like Reliance, etc. coming in has been that the BSNL guys have stopped coming for Diwali bakshish, etc.
I too have been toying with the idea of going back to India but cannot do so at present due to the money invested in coming to Canada. I infact found that there is not much life after work & especially with the cold season for 6-7 months you cannot go out much. Also with the processing time for parents getting longer, it will be a long time before I can call my parents. As it is, I need to earn a good income before i can file for them.
Thanks.
