Any idea about what document can be used for National Identification document?

I was trying to use Election Card but it doesn't have expiry date.
The form doesn't allow to fill detail without expiry date.


is it okay to answer NO for this question?

I have few more question.

I have noticed IMM0008 form generate total 10 Barcodes on page 5 and page 6.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/additional.asp link shows only 5 barcodes.

is this okay or do you think something wrong? (I have downloaded form on my PC and then validated)

Document list #10 indicates that we need to send two self addressed mailing labels.
1) one in English or French
2) one in our official language of country

Any one can suggest how to generate these labels? OR What is alternative?

My parents are in India. All forms require sign of applicants (parents). It mean

1) I will have to send soft copy of all forms to my parents in India
2) My parent have to print and sign all forms
3) My parent have to send me back here all forms with required documents (not a soft copy because require origional signed forms)
4) I'll have to sign form if reuire and attach my document and send to CIC

is this something everyone is doing?

I will try to answer your question meitsme. You can fill out all the required forms here at your end, print it out and then send only the pages where their ( parents )sign is required. I think only 3 to 4 pages need to send. Don't send other pages of form where their signature is not required. At least that's what I did in my case. I used DTDC servies , it is very good. They will charge $ 17 and will take 6-8 days. You can also used their service for bringing back the signed documents from India. They will pick up from your house in India and deliver here at your house, for that they will charge $5 extra, that is $22.

About label ,I am not sure how to print those . But I have confusion about the address. Whose address to put on label? mine or applicant's ( my parents) Can anyone answer for me?

To save time, get all the information from your parents - fill out the forms at your end. Then scan and email the pages that require your parents to sign. This way you save time and the cost of courier from Canada to India. Your parents can then sign the necessary pages and courier it back to you.
