from CMO OFFICE if you live in pind [village] ,for your parents you can get birth certificate [ not found ] no need to pay to much .
not found will get in few days with any date matched with your passport dob

My file submitted on sept-2005.
I got confirmation on sept-2007 tha my file if approved, my parents have submitted application on dec-15.
still then I got nothinf up-dates.
Is anyother documents I have to submit?

Apologies for the double post - there is no way to delete a post (the delete inside the edit button does not work). Please ignore this reply and consider the one following this.

Your parents will get a letter which mentions the date of start of processing (in India) by about January end 2008 or so.

As per the CIC website, New Delhi applicants could take anywhere from 5 months to 3 years (parents sponsorship) for visa issuance.

This is another site where folks upload their individual timelines (check it out).

hello bhatji18
my parents submited application sept 2007 new delhi starts processing sept 18. after that there is no updates yet

you will get a letter showing that they have started processing at blah blah date after that long long wait like me

anybody else on same boat i ve checked time line of kkdip he is very lucky he applied 4 days before me and he got medical request in dec 2007 [ total 7 months after submiting application in new delhi ]

Based on the current processing times, it looks like it takes at least 4 to 6 months from the time the application reaches CHC-New Delhi.
