-applied for parents in July 2007
-got letter confirming approval in october 2010 and application forwarded to delhi
-parents received letter to submit passprt, medical and other docs in December 2011

-How long will they take now, any rough idea?

After they complete the medicals and send passports along with other documents, it will take a minimum of 2 months and maximum of 6 months.

I NEED URGENT HELP.

Can anyone PLZ PLZ PLZ scan and send me the copy of the document check list (last page). its the same check list which came in CIC mail for parents sponsorship.

For some reason i cannot find the hard copy, but luckily i have scanned the first 3 pages in my email (till point number 9 - Photo Requirements)

Just for the reference,

the top of page 1 of the check list says "Document Checklist - Permanent Residence-sponsorship of parents and grandparents

top of page 2 says "all documents submitted will not be returned"

Top of page 3 says "responsible for your country of nationality.... bla..bla"

Page 4 .... is missing - i would really appreciate if you can scan it for me and email to me at sumit101 @ hotmail.com .

Any e-CAS updates to your case statuses after you sent the forms and documents to CPC-M? I sent my parents' forms on Jannary 2, 2012 and the e-CAS does not show any change at all.

It is a bit unnerving especially because CIC's letter mentioned that if they do not receive any documents within 90 days, they will consider the application "abandoned".

What if CIC gets back to us in summer saying that they never heard back from us? The least they can do is to update the e-CAS status to reflect the receipt of the new forms.
