I think we are all making lot of incorrect assumptions here - like assuming that every year has 12 months to start with. :h :h May be there is some concept of extended year where in one can be in India for 5-5.5 months and still meet the residency requirements.

I am still figuring out the correct numbers

Assumption 1:

Quote:

..........I also worked in India that was during year 1999 since then I am very much on permanent visa.

I worked 9 year abroad(as permanent resident) and ..........

So that gives a person 10 years experience - 1999 in India and 9 years abroad. Since 2000-2008 is only 8.25 years, how did it give 9 years, I donno.

Anyways, that is a total of 10 years.

Assumption 2:
In India, by the time one passes, 10+2, one will be at least 17 years. If to get a job in an MNC with 40-50% outside india stay etc., I assume one needs an MBA equivalent from a top college. A engg+ MBA takes 6 years... so that will put one at 23 yrs on passout... Add to that 10 years experience, one has to be 33 at least

My numbers comes to same as what Maharaj assumed, but then,
Quote:

..... unfortunately I am less then 30, seems Canada has poor mathematics

Even a simple 3 yr degree will put one at 30+ and not less than 30; but then again, I am not even talking about the time needed to apply for PR in each country.

........and my PR status is always taken care by my company, so I know very well what kind of Emotion you are going through..........

Now if you stay out for 5 -5.5 months in a year you cannot accumulate enough days to qualify for citizenship. So if you want to, you can apply for citizenship here. But be prepared to get a rejection, because may be you have got your mathematics wrong.

I am permanently employed by Canadian office,I have not come through transfer or temporary visa. I came here as change in my job and leaving my Green card(Germany),If I want I can also apply for citizenship here.

What I wanted to say is my present company has branch everywhere and time to time I got chance to live in Europe/USA and other asian country. I also worked in India that was during year 1999 since then I am very much on permanent visa.

I worked 9 year abroad(as permanent resident) and my PR status is always taken care by my company, so I know very well what kind of Emotion you are going through.

The problem is you assume too much. first you assumed I am on temp visa then I don't live in India, Man as per as my Job I need to physically live 5-5.5 month in India every year, so last 9 year 4.5 year i physically lived in India.

Thank you very much but I am not looking for Canadian citizenship.
I don't want citizenship of any country i am proud Indian citizenship.

still i want to tell you one can still get citizenship without living 1095 days out of four year, If you are investor generating >20 million dollar/year and employed lots of Canadian here, my Boss is living example for that he was part of 50 billion dollar company

I bet you, you guys must be Punjabi/Gujarati must be driving taxi or short of grocery store else you couldn't have asked this question.

I will tell you but please take help of desi loywer else you will never understand it

Pune international school you can complete 12th in 16 year.

Germany education might give you engineering degree in 3 year depend upon point system if you are intelligent.

during your study you can work part time and last semester full time that count as work experience in Europe.

there is exchange program where you can come and work/Study in different country during your course that was during 1999 time.

Abroad doesn't means Canada only Germany provide Green card right away if you are qualified professional it is 2 day process for sure not for them who cook/drive taxi of doctor so, they might have concern/Question.

again even in Canada who came with valid document they know for PR you don't have to be in country even from Germany/Europe or India you can apply for it and you can get it.
16 +3 + 9 = 28 year
even with ones 17 year fro 12th + 4 year degree course with last semester working still give you less then 30 year.
9 year exp doesn't mean from Canada exp only.

Punjabi and gujju will have tuff time to understand it/Germany as they can't get there illegally easily I am not south Indian either so just chill,

So for you manhood is ability to get PR/greencard/visa or money.
No wonder why lots of restaurant guy in europe are used to asked - "aapke paas paper hai kya' when I used to say I am on work permit they use to have hard time to understand it.

Even In 2006 when we applied for work permit for couple of guy for our company,I was in Canadian embassy in new Delhi and one guy had hard time to understand how can any one get work permit without paying to agent, he said he paid 15 lakh to agent to get his work permit.

recently I met a Indian girl she said they have 5 house in Chandigarh her dad was like vice president in Chandigarh for some company but now her dad also worked as security guard just to be in Canada.

I also have hard time why people sell their land or do contract marriage for just to be in abroad and working in restaurant or other job.

I will write my whole experience what people can do to get visa or what extend they can go offcourse those will have hard time to understand how can any one get valid visa.
