I worked 9 year abroad(as permanent resident) and my PR status is always taken care by my company, so I know very well what kind of Emotion you are going through.

You chose to Reply me and not YES to BL ... so I guess you want to continue ...

I have never done this before ... but what the hell - all in Fun & there is always First Time. Besides, I have plenty of time & to go over your posts, pick and see your Hypocracy.

What kind of Visa is that? Job Visa? PR Card?

Last you worked in India was 1999 ... its been 9 years you are out of it. What system have you used there? What level of corruption have you faced there? You said "India is Dirty/Corrupt & its your responsibility to improve it." How? By staying out of country for 9 years!!! Without experiencing it??? You show attittude to People who complains - and you want people to fight it out, while you are away. Team Work, isn't it? ... Go Team Go (I'll stay here).

You are proving your Patriotism by giving "Sell value for Money", "Changing the passport is like changing mother", "you can not build Banaras/Haridwar/brindavan/vaishnavdevi/tirupati", "only get 'Moksha' when the "Asthi' goes to GANGA River", "Jai Hind", "kid can speak/read/write in hindi"

Don't give me all that BS coz this is your other side -

"I never cooked. I never Cleaned house. I don't do my clothes. I don't do my Dishes. I don't drive my own Car. My company takes care of PR." ... I am sooooooooo (waiving my hands over head) big head that I don't (or may be can't) do my own sh$^. I am so Important, that everybody has to work for me, even when I don't ask (coz you didn't ask them to keep you out of India for 9 years).

This was Classic "thanks god atleast you people are not soldier otherwise you could have said we are not giving our life for India as road here sucks we will not fight for Kargil but we will fight in Iraq/Afganistan behalf of USA/Canda,because USA and Canada offer more quality of life." ... again GO TEAM GO, I'll stay out of India.

KV no one has said anything that is hatefull of India. We are discussing reason's for people to move out of India. I love India as much as any other guy but then that does not mean i have to gloss over things that " are" wrong with that place. We are critical of things here also, we have spent a good amount of time & energy discussing topics about health care here.
As for Indians giving up values for roads etc.... which values are you talking about. People move forward with time .... things which were not acceptable some 100 years back become the norm ...... In India we had problem with widow remarraige and sati .... 100 years back if you had mentioned these two people would have said your values are changing because of foreign influence.
There are things which are good in our value system and there are things on which we need to move on ..... it is ultimately as an individual and then as a group / society we decide what values work for us.

Thanks to the technological advances in the past decade, world is now a "Global Village"..meaning a good job which were hitherto the 'driving factor' of western countries is available in India by working for the same client but by physically be in India.

So where to live and raise kids is now a matter of pure personal preference.

The problem is you assume too much. first you assumed I am on temp visa then I don't live in India, Man as per as my Job I need to physically live 5-5.5 month in India every year, so last 9 year 4.5 year i physically lived in India. My all family lives there and my brother works in Army.

anyway that is not problem or topic according to you I am bad guy or even assume worst for me no problem,it but this can not prove India is hell and Canada is heaven and it can not justify changing the mother.

I feel sorry for those you have so much hate for India and will give all kind of justification to prove India is Hell.

My dear friend India is equally good don't teach hate feeling about India to coming generation. If anybody want to go Please let him go.

short and sweet

India is one of the best country to live in

India never had problem with widow re marriage and sati pratha. It was Hinduism had problem with that, which was later on reformed by Raja Ram mohan Rai other hindu not because of any influence.

Please now don't start discussion on religion. religion and country is two different thing.we are already deviated from the topic.

I swear to God. I was thinking the same when at work during the day. I was conceptualising this very thing that you wrote.

I agree with you completely. Just because we have chosen to leave India, and make Canada our home, doesn't mean I start hating India. These are all criticism of the system, which we all do about Canada as well. Does it mean I hate Canada? No. When I was in India, I used to strongly condemn about the prevailing curruption, inequality of wealth, bijli, pani, etc. Does it mean, I used to hate India? No, never and will never do it. But, we made our choices and immigrated here, not due to the hate about the system, but good opportunity (it's subjective now) and a quality of life.

I left my country due to the prevailing curruption, systemless system, and an inadequate infrastructure. Period. India is still in my heart, and I love it more than any other country in the world. The only thing I miss about India is my family, friends, and relatives. That's it.

For those who are implying that the immigrants hate India, please give me a break. I am 1000% sure that each one of us are in love of the land that we were born in, which is called India.

This post is merely about criticism and not hate. But, being a citizen of Canada, I am equally in love with this country as well. That's why we are being known as - Indo-Canadians. We have India and Canada in our heart (at least in mine).

As for the kids' valued upbringing in India, then I must only say this. It's not about the country where kids are born and raised, but the values, culture, and education at home that the parents impart them with. I have all my cousins born and raised here and needless to say, they are cultured and well educated (Scientists, Engineers, and Doctors to name a few).

Remember, Western culture is making a hugh inroads in India. So, living in relationships, boy/girl friend trends are catching up fast in Indian metropolitans.

It's again the criticism, and not hate.

Do not get upset and we shall not pin point some one.It is not important which language u studied most and where u lived most when we are here far apart from back home.We must feel proud about that though there are lots of languages, we shine wherever we go! Also do not forget that we have very good knowledge of English as well every Indian is knowing another two language. We shall keep that heritage to our childern also.

As world is changing , my original question is that country ike India,China are changing very fast as there was slow progress before.Lots of work is outsourced to India. I knew one group who sends medical files data keeping work to India. I called national car rental co. and booking agent was in small office of banglore. Many of banks, doing their data logging work outside. Why it is so? because work is done much faster way and quite cost effective! Also there are very few people who work here. Population in Canada, eurpoe is not making 2% growth. It is declining and will more the way new generation is living. They do not believ in family and raising childern.I met some fresh graduate working fellows and they said that it is more safe and less work to keep pet than childern. ( They are not Indian youth, luckily!).

Whereas India - now three Indians are in top ten rich people in world. Mittal is origin from India but he lives in UK like us. So with him there are four people. Govt.decalred they will develop 3500 villages to medium size of town so that big city will not be over burdened.Japan is interested to invest 35000 crore rs. ( forgive me If I am wrong on numbers) to build express road between Mumbai and delhi. There are alredy public bonds issued for major city infrastructure development.Govt. ( local or central) will find out solution when problem arrise. If they can build free ways than they can build parking garrage also. Take an example of Delhi metro. I have not seen but heard that it is very efficinet .Same way, 45000 Crore is planned for Mumbai metro and some another metro is coming.HYD airport is opened last week with Pvt. Operation and Banglore on its way!

I am sure India is on right path.

Also when u r writing on this kind of forum one shall not take seriously typo error. That does not mean that person is lacking on language skills.Usually person do not read what he wrote .Some person may be good on english whereas some may be good on math. Everyone has some expertise!take it positively and do your best for your self.
