It is just my guess or hunch. that file movement play a role. They have no interview. They applied on friday , get visa on tuesday. As for peper work. It was all same long list of crap. Same as before: sponser letter, funds , relationship proof etc

I understand some countries have longer time to get PCC but this was a generic message to all applicants... So if someone gets PCC in 1 month and his/her file is transferred to Delhi which will take another year or two to process then what is the point of requesting an early PCC..... ? ?

..they will ask for another PCC, coz at the time of sending these letters, they didn't know where the files went. I actually think, some might be asked to do meds too

I think CIC has a system where they scan and upload all documents to one central location, per account. But I can still expect CIC to ask or an additional PCC..

Hello:

I send all the documents on Feb 1st as per the Nov 25th letter. Have not received any reply and ecas does not show any updated status.

Is this common for most of them as i see on the forum that some of them have their status updated or some have received letters. In my case its just my mom with no dependents. Currently she is living here on a visit visa too.

Please reply and Thanks.

I submitted mine Jan3rd and resubmitted March 1st (mine were returned in between)..
I have already received confirmation of my resubmission on March 1st.

I know quite a few people who have not received confirmation even though they submitted Dec last year...there is really no set pattern; I term it rocket science..

Hoping that everyone's parents unite soon!

What kind of confirmation did you receive? Like an acknowledgement letter.
for those who have not received anything after submission, does it mean their files are not opened at all?

I am worried now.

===========

It is currently talking 12-15 business days to open mail once send to CIC (FC4).
If you have not heard anything back for more than these days that just mean they have opened up the mail, move those documents to your existing file. Once time comes to review your file you will get update. 12-15 days above are only to open up mail.

CIC informed the CPC-O is processing application based on following:-

* Pilot project (only few countries selected, INDIA, CHINA & some other)
* No local knowledge is required
* No dependents
* No Immigration alert (or other security risk)
* English selected as language in Interview
* Previous History in Canada (have already visited Canada before)
* All documents in order
==================

I don't buy it

Thanks greg38 for info.

Your argued makes sense, b'cos in my parents case i put education - NONE and speaking english - NO too.

keep in touch with new information if you have one..b'cos you and me are in same boat.

just for information, I sent enquiry e-mail to CIC - New Delhi about time line frame.

if i recieved any update from CIC local office than definately i am going to update the topic.

regards,

^^Good Stuff, looks like these threads will be alive for a while

==============

samna1978 - Mine was Jan 30th and approved/sent to New Delhi. How do you check your Status? UCI, Receipt # ( Original )

Have you tried to check with mothers name and UCI ( Universal Client Identifier ) - you will find this if the visit visa was extended
