Thanks RBO - do you know roughly how much time takes for this change? days or weeks? I called CIC and they said that the next step may take some time and I was asked to call back in July..I am sure it is a CSR judgement based response, hence looking for some experience from others.
in my file status changed after 15 days....

Did you receive a letter in the mail (hardcopy) before the status changed? I have noticed that status change takes quite a while online.

RBO, I submitted PCC on March 1st, but they generally have a validity date..I believe 3-6 momths. If the processing goes bbeyond 3-6 months, are they going to ask for new police certificates?
I would like to break down my question. e.g. New police certificates for:
1) the country they are living in right now (may make sense)
2) the country they lived for more than 6 months in some part of their life but never revisited the country again during the processing dealy after initial submission. (asking for resubmission of these doesnt make sense at all)
Looking for input from RBO or from others who may have experienced this scenario..
thanks!
RBO and others -
Sorry if my question was not clear. I was talking about the situation where PCC's have already been submitted earlier. Has CIC they asked people to submit a new PCC if the previously submitted PCCs expired due to delay in processing?
I checked with CIC 2 weeks ago and 1 rep said they will ask again, another rep said it will not be required again..
Looking for actual experience from members on the forum.

It is just my guess or hunch. that file movement play a role. They have no interview. They applied on friday , get visa on tuesday. As for peper work. It was all same long list of crap. Same as before: sponser letter, funds , relationship proof etc
HI
I have submitted my all forms on 04 Feb 2012, received one letter on 19 March 2012 stating that they had recived my form and everything looks okay.
Now i have a friend who had received same kind of letter after 1 week as he had submitted his document one week after me. But in next week he has received letter stating that his file is moved to ottowa.
Now online status of my file is still application received. This is the 3rd week of waiting for any update.
Can you please suggest what should i do?
Thanks
Sp
My initial application was received by CIC in Sep, 2008.
I got request for new documents in March, 2012 which I sent in April 3rd week.
I got first response by e-mail yesterday saying - I met the requirement for eligibility as a sponsor and my application is forwarded to Ottawa. It says if I receive this communcation by email, I won't receive another copy by mail.
Now, what is the next process. Will I get some response that my application is approved from Ottawa (yesterday's response only say - I met the requirements).
