Hi:

Question to all those whose parents got medical request from CIC-ND while they were in Canada.

Did you request the medicals to be done inCanada?
If yes then how long did they take to send you the in canada forms for medicals?
Did you request by email or case specific inquiry form?

Sorry if this is an redundant question as my mother is in Canada and they send me a letter clearly stating for medicals to be done in India. I have sent them couple of emails but no response.
I have 60 days to send all docs back to them and my deadline is 2 jan, 2012.

Please help!!!!

Thanks.

I guess will wait till the end of the month and just go to the doctor here and complete it.

Hope the doctor here does not make a issue about it.

Sorry to say but i hate CIC-ND

You can go for medical anywhere in the world (look at CIC website for list of approved doctors)

Thanks for me, but this is what i got in my email along with the request to do Med and pcc

See below:

Instructions for Medical Examination - A

In order to determine if you meet the medical admissibility criteria in Canada’s Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA), it is necessary for you and your eligible family members to undergo medical examinations.

IMPORTANT – Please Read First:
1) These instructions apply to applicants who will be completing their medical examination in India, Nepal or Bhutan. If you (or any of your family members) intend to complete your examination in any other country, please inform our office and we will provide alternate instructions and forms. To expedite a response, please contact us by email (see http://www.india.gc.ca" rel="nofollow">LINK for contact details).
2) You do not require any other forms or instructions to present yourself for the medical examination. See below for instructions on what to bring to the examination.
3) If you are receiving these instructions and attachments via e-mail, note that you will not receive any separate instructions by regular mail.

Now it clearly states to inform them if not doing the medicals in home country, and i did inform them but no response.

Please shed some light.

Did people receive same kind of letter or different version?

Thanks

Hi:

Can someone suggest a good doctor for the medicals in Toronto/Mississauga/Brampton?
I have the DMP list, but need someone who had good experience using a doctor?
Its for my mother's medicals to be sent to New Delhi CPP.

Thanks.
