yes, this is the wording of an approval letter...

Some people on this forum have mentioned the word "approval" in their confirmation letters. Can someone confirm this was the case or the word approval is being generically used by the posters?

Last night the online status changed to "Decision made" for me. Sharing so that others know how much time it takes for online status updates.

just update:

Received letter from CIC - New Delhi for asking addtional documents

Sponser's Birth certificate original version (Gujarati version) and all old indian passports copy.

after one month got replied by e-mail which i requested for timeframe in India - nothing special..as standard e-mail.

any updated news from you guys??

Today, I have received the letter and it just indicate that CIC received my document and they determine the file is complete. It doesn't say anything about sponsorship approved or file moved to Ottawa/Delhi.

It says your file is in queue and it will be processed on base of date of complete application received. (In my case I sent all requested document in Dec 2011 and then once again complete application with birth certificate sent on 31st Jan 2012)

Also, date on this letter is April 24 but I received today after two weeks.

Did anyone receive this kind of letter?

Do you think I will receive approval letter soon which will indicate file moved to Ottawa/Delhi?

You will receive two letters - The first one will indicate that the sponsorship has been approved. The second letter will indicate where the file is moving - New Delhi or Ottawa. There is usually a gap of 15 days between the dates of the two letters.
