It was important to know that CIC will mail the passport back by courier. Any idea how much we have to pay for courier charges and which courier company they use.

I don't know as my father deal with it but VFS will let you know about courier company when you submit the passport.

Hey Ash20. Congratulations. Looks like we both received the passport requests on the same day.

However, the issue here is they are back in Delhi and asked to submit the passports to Seattle, LVO. Guess, need to courier as it can't be changed to be submitted to Delhi, LVO.

I checked and noone known/unknown is visiting from India during this month. That's another challenge. As they say in Hindi,"Haathi nikal gaya pooncch reh gayi".

If your parents are in Delhi then why don't you ask them (if it is not too inconvenient) to go to VFS, Delhi to submit passport and see what they say. VFS may accept it.

I will try Ash20, however after a thorough research, I found out that you don't have a choice than to send the passport to the LVO CIC requested.
