Congrats RBO! Very happy for you.

On my end, I asked CIC to extend the deadline to furnish to documents, and they responded affirmatively but asked to provide the same asap without any deadlines. Already gone through the medicals, will be sending the PCCs today. The only challenge it seems they are having in Delhi is to get the marriage certificate. As usual, Govt. offices don't give a clear sign of the duration within which they could get it as well as the required paperwork, and the Agents are opening their mouths wide (>10,000 Rs.). Looks like things haven't changed in India a bit. Will see how it goes.

Hey, I have a question though. My parents were in Canada on a visitor visa when we submitted their second round of paperwork. Seems to me that CIC has my address on file for their Canadian address. Their file was transferred to Ottawa. Now that they are back in India, would they need to submit the passport for Visa to Ottawa or Delhi? It's confusing!

Just an update....my parents got a PR Visa yesterday. Ottawa asked me (by email )to submit passports/new photos to VFS - ahmedabad. And just in 7 days passports are back with PR. Great service from ottawa / VFS
