i would suggest to send Represantive form as well with application, in my case i did not send and now CIC - New Delhi is not releasing any information and now i have to send them form signed by my parents that they are authorising me for updates.

Background: I applied April 2008 - submitted check-list requirements March1st 2012

Today I have received a letter today stating "we have determined your application is complete and will be processed based on the order it was received"

This is different from what some other members have shared. Most people have received letters stating their case is approved and file being transferred to Ottawa / home country.

Anyone else received a letter similar to what I received and knows what this means?

My friend received the same letter and found out that his file including notice of assessment and option C print out from 2007 is under tight scrutiny.

How did u submit on 1 March 2012?.

November 25, 2011 + 90 days = February 25, 2012.


Are you self employed ?.

They will not deny but delay.

I am in same situation.

CIC returned whole package and asked me for submitting birth certificate. I resubmitted on 31st Jan but still there is no response.

Usually how long they are taking to respond?
