I have heard that in India, cops would come to your place for identification but what happens when you are out of India?
..so just to confirm that no one came to your place to identify. The reason I am asking is coz my folks were staying with my aunt as our place was under housing redevelopment. She is US citizen herself and spends 6 months there so she won't be there herself if anyone comes to ask!
Hi,
Does someone know what happens if you're late in submitting the requested medicals? They asked me to get it done within 30 days and I have exceeded the time limit.
Another thing. Since, my parents stayed in Canada for an year do I need to submit the PCC from Canada as well?
Have been tried calling CIC for the last 4 days, but to no avail. The number seems to be busy all the time. Frustrated and panicky!
Thanks in advance.

. ...I am sure one of you must have filled the forms and must have indicated the email as a primary mode of communication that is why email was sent.
I did the same and have not received any emails from them..CIC agents claim they sent me post mail on June 16 and we have have not received anything yet....
Wonder how many people on this forum have received requests for medicals..
I have also heard that CIC has been asking for the same set of documents again along with medical request for some people (like marriage certificates, birth certificates, etc.). Some have been asked for educational certificates, I wonder why, specially when the immigration is not based on such criteria.
