Either one of following could happen
1) Cops wait for you there till you return.
2) They apply for visa to the country where you are but denied because they could not obtain PCC
3) They try to find someone with name similar to yours.
4) They try to break-in
5) They take neighbour to police station.

Just kidding, I think the requests from embassy must be getting handled differently.

..so just to confirm that no one came to your place to identify. The reason I am asking is coz my folks were staying with my aunt as our place was under housing redevelopment. She is US citizen herself and spends 6 months there so she won't be there herself if anyone comes to ask!

Hi,

Does someone know what happens if you're late in submitting the requested medicals? They asked me to get it done within 30 days and I have exceeded the time limit.

Another thing. Since, my parents stayed in Canada for an year do I need to submit the PCC from Canada as well?

Have been tried calling CIC for the last 4 days, but to no avail. The number seems to be busy all the time. Frustrated and panicky!

Thanks in advance.

Just trying to help you; are you sure you are calling the right number? I have not faced a line busy issue in the last 2 years or so. I always call them to get the information right from the horse's mouth and usually get to an agent on the phone within 2-3 minutes.

Hope things go smooth for your case!

I did the same and have not received any emails from them..CIC agents claim they sent me post mail on June 16 and we have have not received anything yet....

Wonder how many people on this forum have received requests for medicals..

I have also heard that CIC has been asking for the same set of documents again along with medical request for some people (like marriage certificates, birth certificates, etc.). Some have been asked for educational certificates, I wonder why, specially when the immigration is not based on such criteria.

Received the letter today June 29. Asks for a list of documents to be submitted if not done yet. This time they use a word "certified" against the documents..and of course education certificates! Oh well!

I don't thimk you need to submit PCC for Canada for your parents.
The number to reach CIC is 1-888-242-2100
