Local Office; did you get any email from New Delhi ? if so then when? and any clue what will be our progress


CIC - New Delhi sent standard e-mail in
Feb indicated that i have to wait another 43 months and my file is in line.

No idea how far this is right? b'cos so many people already received medical request whose file trasfered to Ottawa.

Is there anything peculiar about your file that it went to ND?

Mine is only parents
Worked for IT Dept in 70's
Visited Canada x 3-4 times

Mine is only parents too and retired.

We got similar letter. Does that mean parants have to wait for 4 more years?. may be we should get them super visa meanwhile

Can you apply visitor/super visa, I read somewhere and it said, do not try to come to Canada till the process is finished?

Does this apply to Visitor visa too?

I have received a letter that says My parents file has transfered to Ottawa and no other update since so long. I am totally confused....... Online status shows "in process"
