More than the Visa , you might wish to check the validity date of medicals which is generally one year from date of issue and with in which one mut land .

I believe that common for all PR landings.

My parents got their medicals done in July this year, so I guess there's a still a plenty of time.

Do you guys know what is the validity of the visa? I mean within what duration they need to land after the visa is issued?

And, how many days is it normally taking to get the passport back with visa?

Thanks guys.

My parents had gone through medical on 13th July and visa expiry date is 5th August 2013.

CIC requested passport through an email and email had VISA expirty date too.
Email says if you submit through VFS, it will take 7 working days and if you submit directly to Delhi CIC, it will take 30 days.

In my case, I submitted passport to VFS and received Passport back with PR VISA stamp in 8 working days.
