Medical request and original passport request was same time...i.e. 7th July 2012

So a general average time to expect medicals after file transfer to local office is 4-5 months. I'll set my expectations for Oct/Nov 2012.

Yes, and getting AOR from the date of file transfer was 1 month time in my case.
