Hi Everyone,
Question for experts on CD...I applied for my in-laws in june 2008, doc request nov-2011, doc sent jan-2012, file transferred to delhi- april-2012. Now as I kept on checking my ecas status, it changed from APP RECEIVED to IN PROCESS. And IT says as follows: We started processing Mr XYZ file on Dec 19 2012. Now my question is what to expect next and when? Please help me out...Thank you all!!! CD ROCKS!!!!
Hi Greg:
Just a bit confusing for me, some people from my time line have their ecas status updated, but mine is still the same. Just says application received on June 2008 at the ND VO.
Can you shed some light on this?
I know medicals are there and ppt reached there.
Should i wait for another month and call cic?
Ecas is very unreliable, ppl b4 u also have the same, for some it updates, for some it doesnt..dont bother with ND, they wont reply on this
Thanks Greg.
Thanks Greg..

My sad saga - got my GCMS notes today and found out that ND has requested the paperwork on Nov 8th but due to incorrect email ( which I assumed they have corrected ), it never got to me. I am passed the due date now however I tried to fax Delhi x 2 times asking if anything was sent due to incorrect email history and got no response and my worst nightmare came true when I got the GCMS notes today. As the package deal of bad luck GCMS also delayed my request for additional month if that wasn't the case I would have been in the 2 month bracket
Emailed Delhi again with URGENT subject line, and called them , left VM for immigration section, they replies and said they have updated the email and passed my situation to the correct dept
Going for meds on Friday, wasted all this time for no reason

It was filed in Vancouver.
Anyhow, my concerns stands addressed now as CIC responded to my email in this regard. They mentioned my parents could land in Vancouver as CIC made a mistake in the landing document's city of destination. That, they are destined for Vancouver itself. Good enought for us.
Will print it out and get parents to have this document handy when they land.
Thanks Greg38.
