Inke Kamal? Kya ???????????????
That exactly is the point. Indian express has published the above because CD of Varun's speech is highly doctored. Words and statement have been recorded out of context and selectively and that is exactly what Varun had pleaded with EC. But like Madmohan, EC Navin is is a stupid stooge of Kangress and abusing his newly gained power, acted as forensic expert and came to conclusion that CD is not doctored and advised BJP to drop Varun and thus acting beyond his ...

USA: Cost of living (California)
Started by: meitsme on 12 Apr 2012
...Bashing USA is a world time pass but most of them would never deny opportunity if offered green card. Green card can be very complex lengthy process for Indian born. Straight Yes/No ans may not be great idea. If company is ready to file labor on day 1 in EB2 then you can rent and stay in silicon valley for sometime. You can follow AC21 with EAD and move to other job and state same flexibility like green card. Most of the Canadian never lived, worked, medical and paid taxes but lot of them have very negative...

Moving Soon: How do I get my driving experience certificate from Janak Puri Delhi?
Started by: laddiguy on 02 Feb 2009
...neighbourhood... I am from Janakpuri as well... welcome... As for driving experience requirement... I can only share my experience which was about 5 years ago, not sure if rules have changed since then... I just had to show my indian driver licence (issued by janakpuri authority only) no driving experience certificate was sought at that time.... Yes I do recall that my licence didn't show expiry date, so I had to have some sort of certification done by Indian consulate here in toronto.... which just required one trip to the consulate and if i remember correctly, fee of some 20 bucks or so... ...

Life: Are we sandwiched between Indian Values and Canadian Cultures,Jobs,Kids

   ...Very well said.
Originally posted by Portia It's understandable and admirable that you want your children to keep their Indian cultural identity. It would be ridiculous however to think that they won't also have a Canadian identity. They are living in Canada as a result of your deicisions and actions. Pitting old country vs. new country is bad for your children. You don't have to make the two into two extremes and force your children to chose sides. The values that some people are sugge...

Also, a lot of other people who wrote the test on the same date at the same center (or around the same time) have already been through their oath ceremony. Can anyone please share some experince or timelines? Is there anything I can do or just continue waiting? Thanks and cheers. ...

In this persons case I would not be surprised if he has communicated with the CHC and Kingston in similar fashion (not language necessarily - but attitude) and so he is now in a soup. I personally feel that for Indian students, Canada is the right place for higher studies and would love to see more and more students coming over and then either settling down here with a greater ease than normal immigrants, or go back to India armed with Indian background and knowledge of western way or working....

Our Native Country!: Study Abroad - India-The best place for study in world

...mily business. So, regardless of educated/uneducated business people, either they or their offsprings join a foreign university for a practical knowledge and not just few 'cram papers'. Even Dheerubhai had to send Anil and Mukesh to Pennsylvania and Stanford respetively. Again, I wish to stress here that not all Indian students go to IITs, IIMs. For the rest, it's just cramming their way through Degrees. As a result, you can't expect any major breakthrough or research in Science/Technology/Medical etc. fields. You're just talking about Quantity vs. Quality here. When Obama uttered the words 'Indian/Chinese are coming', he just meant 'Outsourcing' and nothing else. It's all about saving...

Our Native Country!: Indian FDA recalls Maggi noodles
Started by: rajcanada on 20 May 2015
...Now they are saying it was manufactured in February 2014! It takes more than one year from production date to recall a food item? High levels of lead is concerning though as lead is a toxic substance. Wondering if it came from wheat flour used for making noodles or the tastemaker. If wheat flour then won't other products be affected as well? Nestle may not add MSG but they do have other ingredients in Maggi that are very close to MSG like hydrolyzed peanut protein. Some manufacturers also advertise it as "No Added MSG" when hydrol...
