Many items imported from India carry only importer's name and no date of manufacturing or expiry unless it was stamped in India itself. Foodstuff going on sale in Indian stores is mostly old stuff.

   I contradict on this opinion: ...friends, I travelled with jet as recent as Feb 2011, and I was full praise for their services. I was travelling with my wife who was in miserable state of pain while going to India, and even while coming back after her surgery she needed help at every step, and I must say the staff did a wonderful job both ways, even the food inflight was excellent, we are jains and have our reservations in terms of food, but all the instructions were followed as requested. My wife had to use aisle wheel chair inflight even to go to the washroom, she was helped very patiently by the inflight crew each time.

   ...I don't think they have any Jain food, but I tried a vegetarian restaurant about a week back and loved the food. The restaurant is called Rajdhani, its in the little desi area at Albion and Islington in Rexdale. Address is 2658, ISLINGTON AVE., REXDALE - ON. I had the chana kulcha ($3.99) and my wife had the thali ($4.99). Very very reasonably priced. The chana kulcha was fantastic and for the price, a real bargain as well. The thali was good too.

   ...Dear friends, After arriving at Pearson International Airport, which is the best taxi/ limo service that can take me, my family and my quite heavy luggage ( 7 pieces @ 23 kg each plus couple of hand carries) to my place in Mississauga. Is there any way I can make the booking before arrival. I sometime fear even a van won't be able to accommodate us alongwith our luggage, what if such a scenario arises! How much should be the approx fare. Should I go by meter or there are flat rates for respective areas. If booked now, do they come to the luggage belt to help us carry the luggage
