I don't imagine they will want to do anything with your Indian passport, since it will become useless without the PR card/lnded immigrant paper anyway. Then when you apply for Indian visa with your Canadian Passport, the Indian Consulate will stamp all the pages of your Indian Passpor with "cancelled" or something, and that will be the end of your current citizenship status with India. You may of course go on apply for dual citizenship but that is another process altogether. ...

My point is not that the Indian universities are not up to the mark but the education and universities in North American and European countries seem to go way ahead of their Indian counterpart.
